--Arcadia Bowling Green project looks to Redefine Senior Living by offering a broad range of amenities and services Designed Exclusively for area Seniors--
Bowling Green, KY. October 20, 2016—Brian Durbin, President of Arcadia Senior Living, along with his partnership group today announced plans to develop a nearly 7-acre portion of land on Lovers Lane adjacent to the Traditions residential development into an exclusive new community for seniors seeking Independent, Assisted and Memory Care services. Mr. Durbin announced the community will be named Arcadia Senior Living and will be located at 618 Lovers Lane.
“Our team has been working for quite some time to make this project a reality and I’m so excited to announce we’re ready to proceed with construction and offer a much needed option for Retirement Living in the area,” said Durbin. “I’ve long thought this property was a superb location for a retirement community with its beautiful scenery and convenient location along with its proximity to shopping centers, health providers and other local amenities.” Durbin went on to say, “Arcadia Bowling Green will offer outstanding services and amenities to our residents and a very convenient location for them to enjoy nearby Churches, Health Care Facilities, Restaurants, Entertainment Options, etc. This will truly redefine senior living in the area.”
The team consists of noted developer DMK Development, and Durbin’s Louisville-based senior living company Arcadia Communities. DMK Development is in the process of receiving final approvals and will begin construction on the 80,000 sf community which includes 79 spacious Studio, 1 and 2 BR accommodations in the coming weeks. David Kitchen of DMK said the team’s goal is to “create an environment where residents are encouraged to live active, fun, and fulfilling lives and enjoy the comfort, convenience, and care services offered at Arcadia.” Durbin added, “The community will include features that address the interests and lifestyle of our residents including a fitness center, outdoor walking paths, library, baking kitchen, art studio, small dog park, theatre, happy hour and internet lounge, rose-garden terrace, patio seating with fire pit, restaurant style dining room, as well as a private dining room for special occasions with friends and family.” Residents will also enjoy the convenience of housekeeping and laundry services, transportation services, 24-hour staffing, an emergency call system, coordinated social and recreational programs, as well as assistance with care needs under the direction of a licensed nurse. The community will feature a secure memory care neighborhood for residents needing additional support.

We anticipate opening the community in late 2017 and will hire 30 to 40 employees to operate the community.
